Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actress, director writer, producer, and educator in St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton and is the child of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for productions as a young girl as well as watching her mother working. While still a small child, she was featured in commercials of various kinds. In the month of November, 1999 Anna relocated to Toronto to advance her acting career, eventually moving into Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at a Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. The couple got engaged. Anna became a Jew in 2011 after converting to Judaism. They were wed in a civil ceremony in December that year and then renewed their vows in a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton the month of April in 2011. Bo's sex-based romance with Lauren was featured in CNN's most popular television Couples ever, and was named the top Television Couple 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's popularity on social networks grew as a result of the show.
