Paula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her starring roles in the action spy film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the romantic film Precious. As a young girl Paula Patton grew up in the Los Angeles middle-class household. The idea of instilling a love for films in her daughter was something that was a gift from her mother, who also loved watching movies. Paula was a fan of school co-curricular activities and she was a huge fan of drama. She loved acting in stage plays together with her fellow students. After performing in a variety of high school productions at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her career. The summer was a blast at the University of Southern California. The program awarded her a 3-month contract producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. After completing the project with success, she began working as an assistant for TV documentary production. Later, she was able to produce documentaries. Although she enjoyed what she did but she was always wishing for being an actor. She started her career in acting by playing Will Smith's co-star in romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she's appeared in numerous film and television shows.
